The match, played on the grass pitch of the Burus Csaba Sports Base, saw two very young scorers for FK: Bîrsan-Geszika Dorottya, born in 2010 and only 15 years old, and Zvenyák Johanna Rita, born in 2011. Our first goal came just before halftime, while Zvenyák sealed the win midway through the second half.
Head coach Berkeczi Emőke first expressed her gratitude for being able to play at the Burus Csaba Sports Base, a rare opportunity. “Unfortunately, the excitement of playing here had some effect on the result — the girls couldn’t finish off their beautifully built chances. However, overall, the team’s play was really pleasing,” she said.
