Our U17 team played to a goalless draw, bringing home a valuable point from Universitatea Cluj this weekend. Head coach Szilárd Mitra shared his thoughts after the match:

– It was a solid, tough game against a very good side. The match was quite balanced, we were well positioned on the field, and managed to close down the areas where the opponent could have been dangerous. In the final minutes, we actually had the biggest chance of the game, but unfortunately, from just 4–5 meters out, we hit the goalkeeper.

I’m proud of the boys, huge congratulations to them! They worked really hard again, and I’m happy we managed to stay solid. Every team is very strong at this stage of the play-off, and it’s not easy to create many chances in a game — but when you get one, you have to take it.

We’ll keep working on this and remain hopeful for positive results.
