Felkészülés | Szoros mérkőzésen vereség egy erős cseh ellenfél ellen

Our Superliga side suffered a 2–1 defeat against Czech top-flight outfit FC Zbrojovka Brno in the second friendly of our Austrian training camp. In the match played over 2x60 minutes, János Hegedűs gave us the lead with an extraordinary strike from around 70 metres, but the Czech side equalised in the first period before scoring the winner towards the end of the match.

István Szabó’s team continued their programme of matches at the Austrian training camp against strong opposition, facing Czech top-flight newcomers FC Zbrojovka Brno in the Vorau area on Saturday.

The opening goal arrived in the 36th minute, and it was a truly remarkable one. János Hegedűs tried his luck from approximately 70 metres, and his thunderous strike caught the opposing goalkeeper by surprise before finding the net – a rare and spectacular goal that put us ahead.

The Czech side responded quickly. Four minutes later, Filip Vedral found the net to make it 1–1. Both coaching staffs made several changes as the match went on, and towards the closing stages Brno completed the turnaround: Tadeáš Vachoušek scored the winning goal for the Czech side.

Following the 2–0 victory over Serbian top-flight side FK Radnički Niš, our team therefore ended the second friendly of the Austrian training camp with a 2–1 defeat.
