Our senior women’s team played a pre-season friendly in Sovata at noon on Saturday. Kollár Péter’s side defeated U Olimpia Cluj 5–0 without conceding a goal.

Shala scored twice, while Nombot, Zán-Fábián and Herczeg each found the net once.

Head coach Kollár Péter said his players showed on the pitch as exemplary.

“Our tempo is still not where it should be, but we managed to make progress tactically and in terms of positive aggression, while we also produced some particularly impressive attacking moves through our combination play,” our head coach said.

The coaching staff named all the young players in the starting line-up for the first half. Kollár Péter highlighted that they approached the game well and performed well, while in the second half opportunities were given to those who had played more minutes in the previous pre-season friendlies.

“We created many chances, but the most important positive is the improvement in our play. Congratulations to the girls!” our head coach concluded.
