Our academy players received an inspiring example of how lessons learned in sport can be transformed into academic and professional success. Former player Tamás Vitos returned to share his journey, proving that discipline and dedication developed on the pitch can open doors in the world of technology.

Under the title “How I Became an Artificial Intelligence Expert from a Footballer”, former player Tamás Vitos held a presentation and discussion with our U17 and U18 academy teams.

Tamás was part of the Székelyföld Football Academy between 2017 and 2019. After graduating from high school, he chose to pursue higher education. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics at the University of Cluj-Napoca, and since 2025 he has been studying at master’s level at one of Germany’s top-ranked business schools, the Berlin-based European School of Management and Technology, where he focuses on analytics and artificial intelligence.

During Wednesday’s session, he spoke about the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence, as well as its connection to football, highlighting how modern technology can contribute to the development of the sport.

Tamás has been a beneficiary of the Székelyföld Football Academy’s Higher Education Scholarship Program for the past three years.
