“I am very proud of my team for qualifying for the quarter-finals from first place – this was one of our main objectives this year. I am also proud because we worked very hard last week and, as I always say, I believe in hard work – it brings results and success. But we must remain humble and continue to believe in what we are doing.
From now on, in the knockout stage, every match is a final. There is no home advantage or away disadvantage, no favourites, and anyone can beat anyone. First, we focus on continuing the league campaign – this weekend we travel to Constanța, and apparently next Wednesday the quarter-final is already coming up. Once again, congratulations to the boys – let’s keep going like this!”
