Three players from FK Csíkszereda’s boys’ teams were involved in Romania’s youth national squads during the September international break.

Romania’s U19 national team, with Efraim Bödő in the squad, took part in a friendly tournament in Denmark during the international break, playing to 1–1 draws against both Denmark and Sweden’s youth sides. Our young midfielder (in the photo, top row, third from the left) started against Sweden and stayed on the pitch until the 86th minute, while against Denmark he came on at half-time, playing nearly three halves altogether. Head coach Adrian Dulcea’s team is preparing for the qualifiers of the 2026 European Championship, with one of the groups’ matches to be hosted in Romania this November.

Romania’s U17 national team called up Lóránd Bencze (jersey nr. 21) and Darius Bota (9) from FK Csíkszereda’s youth squad. The team traveled to Poland, where they competed in the Syrenka Cup against Albania (3–0), Norway (1–5), and hosts Poland (0–2). Against Albania, both of our players were in the starting eleven, and Bota even scored a goal. Head coach Mircea Diaconescu relied on Bota as a starter in all three matches, while Bencze came on as a substitute against Norway and Poland.
