Europa Cup | Historic European debut awaits in Iceland

The FK Csíkszereda women’s team are preparing for the first international fixture in the club’s history: Péter Kollár’s side will visit Icelandic club Breiðablik on Wednesday in the first leg of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup first qualifying round.

Superliga | Going down to ten denied us the chance to earn points

Playing for more than 70 minutes with ten men proved too much for our team: despite our territorial dominance and fluent passing before the sending-off, we missed the opportunity to return home from Botoșani with one or even all three points.

Outlook | Another winning goal from Corbu

Corbu Marius played the full 90 minutes in two matches and scored the winning goal for Ferencváros in Zalaegerszeg. Gyenge Szilárd spent 120 minutes in goal in the Romanian Cup, Tamás Nándor featured in two matches, while Vajda Roland Ottó completed another full game in the Hungarian second division. Partium Cup | Our U13 team finished third

Our U13 team finished third at the fifth edition of the Partium Cup, held in Satu Mare from 21 to 23 August. Twelve youth teams representing four countries took part in the three-day international tournament.

Women’s Superliga | We came from two goals down to win in Bistrița

Our women’s team struggled to find their rhythm in their opening Superliga match, as two easily avoidable defensive mistakes led to goals during a disastrous first ten minutes. Over the next twenty minutes, however, we not only erased the deficit but also turned the match firmly in our favour.

Romanian Cup | Our first win of the season sends us into the group stage

We earned our first victory of the season on August 20, Hungary’s national holiday commemorating the foundation of the state, after a hard-fought battle: we defeated Steaua Bucharest 2–1 away from home after extra time to secure our place in the Romanian Cup group stage. Well done, boys!

Women’s Europa Cup | We begin in Iceland against Breiðablik

We have started the new Superliga season with four defeats from four matches, but in Ovidiu we came extremely close to pulling off a remarkable result. Women’s Team | Anna Ezer’s stunning strike seals victory over Gloria

Our Women’s Super League team played another pre-season friendly, with Péter Kollár’s side defeating our first league opponents, Gloria Bistrița, 1–0 in Sovata. The match was decided by a stunning 28-metre strike from Anna Ezer late in the game.

Superliga | Preparing for Farul with a bolder attacking approach
