As the Tuesday afternoon Romanian Cup match between FK Csíkszereda and Sepsi OSK draws near, we wish to address the following message to the fans of the team from Háromszék.

A true football celebration awaits us: players of the two clubs loved and followed by Székely supporters will face each other in the spirit of fair play, in a manly and honest battle. On the pitch, we expect spectacular football and victory for the better team; in the stands, a festive atmosphere. The fan bases of the two clubs have a friendly — even brotherly — relationship. The Csíkszereda Lokálpatrióták have often supported the Székely Legion, both at home and away, and we are always glad to see our brothers from Trei Scaune among the stands in Miercurea Ciuc.

For the first time since the 2014–2015 Liga 3 season, our teams will play an official match against each other — and never before with such high stakes. By the luck of the draw, our small stadium has been chosen to host this first encounter. We are aware of the generous offer made by our friends from Trei Scaune, yet now we must rise to the challenge here at home.

For this match, we do not wish to have “home” and “away” supporters: we encourage our brothers from Trei Scaune to buy tickets anywhere in the Miercurea Ciuc stands, within the available capacity and even beyond the 5% quota provided by regulations, and to cheer calmly — even dressed entirely in red and white — for their beloved team.
