Despite working harder in possession during the seventh round of the Elit League U17 play-off against Universitatea Craiova, our U17 team could not retain a single point at home.

The 2025 competitive year ended with a midweek round in the Elit League U17 play-off, in which we hosted Universitatea Craiova on Wednesday. Chances were scarce during the match, and in the first half the only notable moment was Bódi’s long-range shot that sailed over the crossbar. Early in the second half the visitors threatened through Loghin, then in the 55th minute Máthé Apor’s 16-metre attempt missed the target by a small margin. In the 74th minute Tóth-Pál’s effort was blocked by a defender, and in the 79th minute Craiova earned a corner from which Loghin rose above our defender and headed the ball into the net: 0–1. Four minutes later we missed a major chance to equalise in front of Craiova’s goal, and from the ensuing counterattack Văduva scored with a fine long-range shot, sealing the final score at 0–2.

Although the league battles have concluded for this calendar year for our U17 team as well, two cup rounds still await us over the next two weekends, where we must aim for the best possible results.
